Of course, you can bury your head in sand and start praying, but in fact:
Auditors
- are able to take different perspectives into account
- are often better than their reputation
- aren’t just nit-pickers or control freaks
- know the meaning of humor
Audit – a common term when it comes to evaluating business processes and organizational structures.
And yes there is a flood of questions. However, the primary focus is on listening.
Because only if you listen you will understand: understand what is done – and, more importantly, why.
A fact, which is mandatory for evaluating:
- whether you meet the requirements you set for yourself as well as those imposed on you
- in which way space for improvement should be “state of the art”
- whether a system works effective and efficient or it is just a so-called system
- etc… ( not: “end of thinking capacity” – there are many points left 😉 )
The goal is:
- to ensure that every audit provides clear purpose and benefit – no audit tourism!
- to evaluate on evidence business processes and organizational structures – not on people’s attitude, behavior, opinion, assumption
My portfolio includes:
- 1st/2nd party system audits in accordance to DIN EN ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
- Qualified process audits based on VDA 6.3
- Supplier audits and supplier development
